Decorating is Done!

Hello Everyone,

I like you, have had a very busy weekend.  It is so nice to be able to walk through the house without having to navigate between trails of boxes.  The house is done.....now about those Christmas cards, shopping, and then wrapping.

I managed to get Spoken For together and the flange sewn on.  I won't be able to tackle the borders until tomorrow since I'm off to class today at In Between Stitches.  The fabric I planned to use did not become reality.  So time to switch gears, think outside my normal quilting box, and switch to Plan B.

Would someone please tell me what Plan B is????

Soon,
Lynn

  1. How about your light background fabric as the final border? The quilt is stunning as is so I would not want anything to distract from the main course.

  2. Hmmm-how about using the darling yellow or the brown check sashing for a border. Would tie it together. The red flange is pretty good at calling attention to itself so something softer would be nice.

  4. How cozy and inviting your living room is, Lynn! My Plan B would be to bind it as is, with the flange setting off the binding! Whatever you do, I know it will be perfect!
    Cheers!
