Yosemite. Every time we go there, we fall in love with it again. Spring is the best time of year to visit the grand old national park The water from the Sierra Nevada snowmelt was spectacular.
A picnic lunch at the base of El Capitan was a great start to our adventure. There were climbers attempting to climb the face over a 5-day span. Can you imagine living vertically for 5 days.....what about sleeping.....what about other necessities? Inquiring minds want to know.
Here is Half Dom from the Mirror Lake area. The solid granite dome is spectacular.
The wind was playing with the perfectly named Bridal Veil Falls.
Everywhere you turn, the view is spectacular from the valley floor. Not to mention, walking along the valley floor and looking up for the whole day, does wonders for my double chin!
Over the kitchen table this morning, Bill, our visitor, said he had an awesome day yesterday. We all did.
May you all have an awesome day of exploration and beauty!
As always,
Lynn
