Sew'n Wild Oaks Class is in Session

Hello Everyone,

Autumn arrived yesterday in the classroom at In Between Stitches. Suzanne is working on her October Magic quilt. She added a cute little black cat to her design.

She has all of the flying geese finished, and the corner pumpkins.  This is going to be finished soon!  Excellent fabric placement and precise work.  Well done!

Susan is adding more and more blocks to her 3-D Noughts and Crosses designed by QuiltSue from her Pick Four book.  Now all of us in the room want to make this quilt!  During class, Susan finished another row and then some.

Barbara's scarecrow isn't going to scare anyone.....he's just so cute and lovable!  The sunflower buttons are precious.

Just one more rusty red solid border and Barbara's quilt will be finished!

My sister Gail is a little more than half way through her baskets for For the Love of Baskets. I think she said she has 68 finished.  They are so sweet!

Paula is working on her roof......really she is!  All of these little strips are going to keep the rain out of her barn!

Isabelle is ready to start making pumpkins by the bushel basket full.  She is so organized with the way she approaches a project.  In fact, all of my girls are extremely organized.  That's why they get so much accomplished.

Jan is starting her first block for Country Charmer.  Note the precise fussy cutting of her plaids.  All of the attention to detail is going to make one beautiful quilt!

There is so much camaraderie in the classroom.  Everyone is so supportive of each other.  I look forward to seeing all of you and spending time together.  You turn my patterns, and my friend's patterns into masterpieces of quilting art and I can't thank you enough.

Soon,
Lynn

It Was a Great Day for Quilts

Hello Everyone,

I love it when our customer's, our friends, bring in their quilts so we can see them finished or at the flimsy stage.  My last two workdays at the shop have been full of eye candy for me.

Chris finished her Country Charmer and it's now ready for the binding.  Well done!

Chris is a finisher.  She stuck with it and now she's going to have a beautiful quilt for Christmas.

Mary brought in all of the finished parts and pieces for The House on Edgewood Lane and I helped her pick out border and setting fabric.  I know Mary will bring it in for me to see when it's finished.  I can't wait!

Denise took my Heartfire class just last month and she has her flimsy finished.  I love her color palette.

It is so much fun for me to see the end results from classes I've taught or the patterns I've designed.  It is also just the best feeling to see our friends achieve a great sense of accomplishment.  Great job by everyone!  You made my day.

I'm off to In Between Stitches this morning to spend the day with my Sew'n Wild Oaks girls.  I'm anxious to see their projects.  I know I'm going to be blown away when I see their creativity.

Soon,
Lynn

Class is in Session

Hello Everyone,

Time to rise and shine and start quilting!  Yesterday, I had my applique class at In Between Stitches and the girls have been busy over the past month.  Judy has added some wonderful details to her Harvest of Hope quilt.

Isabelle finished the roof for her barn.  She was so happy to be able to turn the page of her pattern and now she's going to begin her "barn raising".

Evelynne is working on her scarecrow with his cute flannel jacket.

Her little guy has the added detail of a patch on his knee.

Irene is working on her apple tree with her little blue bird of happiness.

Love the pumpkins!  So cute.

We had a Christmas quilt in the works too thanks to Janice.  She just started her Toyland Tree journey.  The shop also has complete kits for Toyland Tree HERE.

Carol is working on her gorgeous Summer's Blush quilt.  She's almost finished!

She's working on her last hexie flower.

My girls have been busy again!  They are a group of finishers and their homes will be beautifully decorated for Fall and Christmas.

I'm off to the shop for work this morning.  I will take pictures this time of the new arrivals.  I was drooling over them yesterday, and something special followed me home!

Lynn
