Hello Everyone,
Between teaching, and doing trunk shows, I found a bit of time to get Country Sunshine together.
The fabrics are from Betsy Chutchian's line called Rachel Remembered for Moda. I love this line. In the picture below, I'm planning and visualizing how I'm going to quilt this one.
This is one of my favorite blocks. I would like to work on this quilt more today.....but it's not on my to-do list. I'm doing a trunk show tomorrow night at the Moonlight Quilters of Sonoma Country Guild. I've had the honor of being a vendor at their quilt show for the last two years, and I thoroughly enjoy this group of women. It is going to be a fun evening if any of you local to Sonoma County want to join us.
Oh the little boys of summer. How we love to be out on a nice summer evening watching our grandson play ball. His first pitch of the game, he hit a triple and drove in a run. The boys played well but came up short in the end by one run.
This team's summer season has come to and end. A few of the boys were invited to join the 10-year-olds team, and play resumes for them next week. Jess was invited to "move up" and play with the big boys. Just when we thought America's Pastime was over for us......we get to enjoy more summer evenings in the ball park.
Play ball!
Lynn
I LOVE that quilt block! What an awesome quilt.
ReplyDeleteI'm certainly feeling the warmth of Country Sunshine! And Jess...a couple more feet, a few more pounds, and he looks like he'll have the makings of a pro!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I do love this block and what a beautiful quilt (to be). I hope this one goes into your patterns for sale - I want it. I miss those ball games with my kids - the grands only do soccer.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this quilt Lynn! Can't wait to see you and all of your new goodies in Chico in November!
ReplyDeleteI love this new design, really fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI love Rachel Remembered, too. I have only bought a little -couple of charm packs, maybe. This new quilt is beautiful! I can't wait to see how you quilt it! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is an absolutely beautiful quilt. Choosing the colors for each part looks intimidating, but you did an awesome job. I'll be waiting to see the finished quilt!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI am loving this quilt and Betsy's fabric works perfect. This might just have to be on my fall to do list!
ReplyDeleteHi! Can we get that beautiful pattern! Absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful quilt pattern. I wish I had that kind of talent. I'm only good enough to sew a bunch single of squares together. I have a comprehension problem that makes it hard to read a pattern. Im going to try to fallow a tutorial like I did with my crochet.
