Tooting My Own Horn

Hello Everyone,

This post is going to be a shameless, self promotion for three of my quilts.  I just can't help myself....sorry!

I was contacted by Mary Jane from The Christmas Shoppe awhile ago regarding a trunk show on the East Coast. Mary Jane and I met at her adorable booth at Pacific International Quilt Festival last month in Santa Clara and finalized all the details.  I shipped off three of my quilts and lots of patterns to The Christmas Shoppe and they will be making their first appearance at A Quilter's Gathering at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua, New Hampshire on November 3,4,5,6!

Then in January, the quilts will be on display in Mary Jane's booth at Road to California in Ontario, California.  Periodically I'll be posting the shows where the quilts will be on display.  Mary Jane goes to 18 major quilts shows throughout the year, and my quilts will be tagging along with her.  Stop by The Christmas Shoppe booth and tell Mary Jane that Lynn sent you!  Let me tell you, get your check book and charge card ready when you go to her booth.  You are going to see lots of checks, stripes, and plaid bundles, adorable original patterns by Mary Jane under the name of Holly Hill Quilt Designs and many other quilting goodies.

I'll be working on more baskets today for Buttonwood.  Most of the emails and comments I received, suggested that the blue block was not playing well with the others.  That was my thought too, I just needed verification from you.  I think it is going to be relegated to the backside.

Have a great, creative day everyone!

As always,

Lynn

  9. I found the Christmas Shoppe booth at the AQS quilt show in Lancaster, PA today and was captivated by the wonderful patterns and especially the fabrics they had. I especially loved The House on Edgewood Road quilt that was displayed; I just love the colors and the blocks. I can't wait to get start gathering fabrics for the quilt.
