In Between Stitches Preview Party

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday was an annual Christmas luncheon and Preview Party hosted by In Between Stitches at the beautiful Purple Orchid Inn Resort and Spa in Livermore.

The room was full of friendly quilters.

Each table is decorated by an employee or customer.  The tablescapes were beautiful and so creative!  This was my table.

See my Grammy Squares quilt in the background!  This is the only picture I took of it.

The event also collects toys for Toys for Tots.  Both In Between Stitches and The Purple Orchid make generous contributions to the program.

There was also a tea towel exchange.

Of course there was food!

Of course there were quilts!  In Between Stitches offers a large and varied class schedule of beautiful quilts, sewing projects, embroidery projects, and specialized printing on fabrics classes.

The Christmas event is always special, and always a treat to attend.

Thank you to EVERYONE who posted such wonderful comments on my 1000th post!  I'm still trying to get caught up and respond to each one.  Please be patient......I will get to you sometime this week.  As soon as the fabric arrives from Marcus Fabrics, I'll post a picture.

I'm off to work this morning to see what new quilted goodies arrived during the week at the shop.  Enjoy your day, I know I'll enjoy mine.

Soon,
Lynn

  12. So many great classes to choose from. Someday I WILL do a Country Charmer quilt. Lynn, your table was lovely and the Inn is a wonderful venue for the luncheon.

  13. In between shopping and taking classes, I don't think I'd ever come out of the shop. Perhaps I should just move to Livermore and live in there?
