I made a little bit of progress on the Autumn quilt and I can tell by the picture that I will need to incorporate more red and yellow into the mix. The blocks will not be arranged like this.
But, they will go around something like this. I audition fabrics for certain components, then move them all around and change my mind about the color of fabric scale, and tone. This will look completely different the next time you see it.
I find the auditioning phase very relaxing and creative. I surround myself with beautiful stacks of fabrics and arrange and re-arrange until I like what I'm seeing. This house needs lots of repair work and some changes to the "paint". So while I'm working on my home improvement project today, I hope you have a chance to be creative in your home.
As always,
Lynn
Good luck with the home improvement, sure looks a lot easier than the process we went thru a few years ago. Looks like another beautiful quilt. Lynn, you inspire me. Thanks!
