Napa Style

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick post this morning.  We spent the day in the heart of wine country in the beautiful Napa Valley yesterday with some friends.

We went to Sterling Vineyards at the end of the valley, and road the gondola up to the tasting room.

The views were beautiful from our vantage point.

We toured the winery, then walked down this hallway that opened out to the terrace.

We were on top of the world enjoying our samplings of wine.

The view of the Napa Valley was breathtaking.

I want to live right here!  Surrounded by vineyards.

My woodworking husband wanted to get his hand of one of these barrels to make some wine barrel furniture.  This room smelled soooo good.

The bells chimed and it was time for us to go back down the hill in our gondola.

It was a beautiful day.  Our friends from Pennsylvania had never seen anything like this, and enjoyed the day just as much as we did.

We are off to San Francisco today for a cable car ride, dinner at Fisherman's Wharf and Alcatraz by night.  It is fun doing all of this sightseeing with someone that has never been to California before.  I find myself looking at my community and surroundings through a different set of eyes.

As always,

Lynn
