Hello Everyone,
Heartfire is finally together.....together without the borders that is.
Each block is different.
They are all unique in their own way.....like a snowflake.
Mr. Joe and I collectively decided on the polka dot fabric for the border. This was not my original plan, but plans change. I couldn't tell you how many times I've changed my border fabric once the quilt is together. I have a bin of unused border fabric just waiting to for their quilt to be made.
I've been decorating, and the living room is finished! Last night after a long day of Christmas shopping, I curled up with a good book (on my plaid couch) in front of the fire, and enjoyed the fruits of my labor. The quilt above the fireplace is called Christmas Windows by Brandywine Designs. I love this quilt and it's perfect over the mantle.
Enjoy your Saturday. I know you are going to be busy, but take the time to sit and enjoy the moment.
Soon,
Lynn
What a beautiful almost flimsy and Christmas scene! Enjoy, theyre both beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI like the dotted border choice, and I've done the same with swapping out the fabric when I get to the border. Your Christmas decos are very festive - looks like a page straight from a magazine. I have a single ornament hanging...because it arrived in the mail.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Home...
