August Christmas Quilt Along - Post #2

Hello Everyone,

I got all of the squares stitched together and then as an afterthought, I decided to add red setting triangles.  What do you think?  I like the way it frames the quilt.  I ran out of room on my design wall, so you can't see the whole quilt just yet.

The little kiddies are here, so it is play time for Grammy.

As always,

Lynn

  3. Yes! I love this. I was considering adding in fabric this way also. It's great that I could see you do it first to give me an idea of what it might look like with my blocks. Wonderful.

  8. I must say that in particular I like the way that you have done the star backgrounds as a mix of red and white - looks fab!
