I got all of the squares stitched together and then as an afterthought, I decided to add red setting triangles. What do you think? I like the way it frames the quilt. I ran out of room on my design wall, so you can't see the whole quilt just yet.
The little kiddies are here, so it is play time for Grammy.
As always,
Lynn
Oh, this so wonderful! Enjoy the grands.
ReplyDeleteOhhh!! This is just so pretty!
ReplyDeleteYes! I love this. I was considering adding in fabric this way also. It's great that I could see you do it first to give me an idea of what it might look like with my blocks. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt top is beautiful. I love the colors you went with. The railfence effect looks nice.
ReplyDeleteGosh - even Santa will want to snuggle under this one, Lynn! The red makes it look so rich and warm! Have fun with the little ones!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I really like the red setting triangles. It frames it nicely!
ReplyDeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteYou know, if you didn't post about the quilt along, I'd forget every month. Thank you for doing this just for me! I can't wait to get started on mine, thinking about it now... hmmm
ReplyDeleteI must say that in particular I like the way that you have done the star backgrounds as a mix of red and white - looks fab!
