This week is crunch time. I just have a few more days to prepare for the Georgetown Quilt Show sponsored by the Needle Nellies. Nostalgic Christmas is quilted and the plaid binding is half finished.....and my arm is ready to fall off.
Some of the quilts that have been part of the traveling sisterhood quilt show are starting to come home to roost. I have eight more quilts that will come back to me this week. My living room has run out of living room.
Toyland Tree is finished.....well maybe. If you look closely, I quilted some silver snowflakes in the background. General consensus from everyone that stopped by over the weekend, suggested that I scatter more snowflakes around the tree.
Thank you to all in blogland for your encouraging emails. Knowing that so many of you were following my progress kept me going, focusing on the finish line. I have enjoyed your comments and personal emails more than you will ever know. Your belief in me made me believe in myself. I was like the little Engine that could.....I think I can.....I think I can. By golly I really think I can!
