Finishing Day

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday was finishing day.  For me, a quilt can't be put into the finished column until it's quilted, the hanging sleeve is attached along with a label.

Zinnie always knows when it's time to have her picture taken.

The pillows now have their backings on and they are good to go to the show as a display.

It's hard to see the quilting, but it's there!

Thank you all for your comments about the basket quilt.  Many of you don't think I can go two weeks without quilting or blogging......and I think you are correct. This weekend  I have a pattern to write and other things to get ready for the show that really aren't quilting related, but booth and show related.  I need to make price tags, and business cards.  Then pattern printing and stuffing all need to be done. I can smell some midnight oil burning in my future!  I should have a giant bloggers slumber party and we can all stay up all night and stuff patterns and quilt quilts!

Soon,
Lynn

  2. What beautiful finishes! Your CC quilt is so beautiful and the quilting makes it even more spectacular. If I lived closer, I would help you stuff the patterns! Sounds like you are very well organized...I'm sure you'll stay on track and have everything ready in time!

  6. So beautiful. Congrats on all your finishes and good luck with the pattern stuffing and burning the midnight oil. I still have to get my fabric for the country charmer quilt, but I have a couple of things I have to finish before I even attempt to start it. It's killing me to behave and finish stuff first. Hugs!!

  15. Your slumber party sounds like a brilliant idea, but I have a feeling that a lot of chat, laughter and eating would happen and maybe not enough quilting and pattern stuffing!
