Hello Everyone,

I'm adding blocks to the new Fall wallhanging.  I'm still working on the center of this block.  It's looking a little empty.  It's going to have a cute little something in the center by the end of today.

There will be some geese circling the quilt, heading south for the winter.  It was a pleasant change to work on the geese after working on applique for the past few days. Under my Virtual Classroom section at the top of the blog, you will find my tutorial showing you how to make four flying geese at a time.

So here are the parts and pieces so far. There will more to come......slowly......but surely.  As a clue to what this is going to look like, the section below is 10" x 36".  To make it easier to hand applique such a long piece, I just roll it up to the part where I want to stitch.  So far so good.

Since I'm working on applique, I put some background bundles together at the shop the other day. There are ten fat quarters hand-picked and wrapped up in a bow by me. You can find them at In Between Stitches HERE.  You will be seeing some of them in my new design.

Have a great weekend everyone.  The week of much needed rain finally stopped in Northern California and I woke up to a clear, blue sky.  That means it is time to work in the yard.....again!

Soon,
Lynn
