Pacific International Quilt Show 2013 Pictures

Hello Everyone,

Here are just a few pictures from PIQF.  There were so many people that it was hard to get good pictures without showing the crowds.  I took some pictures then put the camera away and enjoyed the show.

There were hundreds of quilts, and we only walked through a fraction of them.

Sandra Mollon, the applique instructor at the shop, designed and made this quilt and the next one.

Sandra made this one too.

This was one of my favorites.  It was elegantly simple and I love basket quilts.

Next year I think I will spend two days at the show.  I'll go on Thursday to see all of the vendors before items are sold out, and I'll go Sunday to see all of the quilts.  This sounds like a plan.  Now if I can just remember my plan!

Soon,
Lynn

  1. I like your plan for the next PIQF. I went yesterday around noon and it was very easy to view the quilts-by 4 o'clock the place was almost empty. Much better than on Friday which was the first day I went. Doing vendors on the first day is an excellent idea. Let's both try to remember next year!

  4. What amazing quilts! The basket quilt is lovely! I also love the black and cream, especially the way she used so many text fabrics. Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
