Thank you for all of your wonderful, and some very funny comments yesterday on the blog. Today I'm sharing some new fabrics with you that Marcus Fabrics sent to me last week called Hint of Print by Molly B's Studio.
Since I just taught Heartfire, I thought this fabric would make up beautifully in the line. So I made a couple of blocks. Just like candy or potato chips......I can't make just one.
The line comes in two colorways. It was so hard to decide which way to go! I have a red Heartfire already, but I don't have a blue one. Also, some of the fabrics from the blue colorway just arrived at In Between Stitches.
Don't forget to comment on the blog and enter your name in the drawing for a Strip'n Sew made by Mr. Joe. The drawing ends this Saturday, February 28th.
All this week you can watch me on The Quilt Show.com for FREE. Just click on the button, wait for the show to load, get your coffee and you are all set.
Soon,
Lynn

I really enjoyed watching the show, you were great. I'd of been way to nervous but you really looked like a pro. I purchased your book not too long ago and it was really great to see how you explained everything on the show. I expecially was fascinated on your employment history and how you fell into that line of work. So impressive! I'd love an opportunity to win one of Mr. Joe's Strip Stands, thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteYou were terrific on The Quilt Show. You inspire me with your beautiful work and I'm impressed with your productivity! Would love the change to win a Mr. Joe's Strip Stand. Maybe it would help me be more productive.
ReplyDeleteMr. Joe is sure clever, his Strip N Sew looks very handy.
ReplyDeleteI loved your appearance on the quilt show. I have been quilting for years, but your explanation of the math in square made sense. I'm anxious to start making my own country charmer. I also like the tools you used to make your sections fit together!
ReplyDeleteThose fabrics are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove the blue colorway! Pretty fabric.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your previews, Lynn! I've been searching on the web looking for a strip holder and I'm going to be watching for an inventory to buy one from Mr. Joe! Whew. I can stop the searching!
ReplyDeleteLove how you used the print in the center of you hexie blocks! Thanks for the inspiration!

Just watched the show. Would love a few of those country corner blocks to get me started.
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with your Party in the Garden quilt at In Between Stitches over a year ago on a trip to California. I was new to quilting, and I was not sure if I was skilled enough to tackle this pattern. I just watched your show and enjoyed hearing your story. I also enjoyed your explanations of your book. I will be purchasing the pattern and your book so I can make this beautiful quilt I have so admired! I loved the show!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric and it looks so beautifiul in your Heartfire blocks!
ReplyDeleteI became a fan after seeing your work at the Santa Clara show last fall. I hope to take a class and have some of your talent rub off onto me! :0
ReplyDeleteIt's always so much fun to play with new fabrics! Love the Strip N Sew - is this the first time you've shown it? I missed it if you have talked about it before. It's perfect.
