Sewn Wild Oaks Class is in Session

Hello Everyone,

It was another magical Tuesday in the classroom at In Between Stitches yesterday.  My girls came prepared to sew, chat and they had a lot to show and tell.  Susan just started working on her Grammy Squares quilt.  She is off to a good start.

Karen is starting to stitch her blocks together and learned how to make flawless "Y" seams.

Jan has a horse theme going on.....so cute.

Shelley's blocks are beautiful.

Jeanne is quickly getting her gorgeous Country Charmer blocks and sashings together.

Several of the girls are working on Once Upon a Vine quilts.

Patti finished her borders and learned how to miter them yesterday.  It was so much easier than she thought it would be.

Suzanne is making adorable little baskets for her Dresden quilt that she is designing.

Barbara machine quilted cross-hatching around her little vases.

Paula is working on her Lucy Boston blocks.  She brought in a book about Lucy Boston which was fascinating.

Gail is finishing up her Winterset quilt.  All of the pinwheels, and blocks are finished.  We decided on the best fabric for her borders and binding.

Now it's time to get them sewn on the quilt.

Paula brought in her quilted Party in the Garden.  Paula cried happy tears when she picked this up from machine quilter Diane.....for good reason.  It is fabulous!

Paula added many of her own personal touches.  The dimensional flowers add so much interest.

LOVE the quilting in the borders!

Suzanne finished this beauty of 6" blocks.  Some of the blocks are from my Patchwork Math book, the other blocks are some that Suzanne drafted from other sources.  This was amazing!

Isabelle has Autumn on her mind as she works her way through Harvest of Hope

The room was alive yesterday with so much creativity and companionship.  It was a great day which we all look forward to each and every month.  I adore you girls!

Soon,
Lynn
