Lil' Orphan Scrappy Class Was In Session

Hello Everyone,

I had a class full of eager quilters last Saturday in the classroom at In Between Stitches.  They learned how to make Lil' Orphan Scrappy.  I love this happy combination of fabric.  I'm so anxious to see the final quilt.  It is going to look so good in these colors!

The girls arrived with bins full of fabrics.

One of the girls arrived with a laundry basket full of scraps.  The quilt is scrappy!

Here's a sample of what they put together from their bins.

This block begins with a beautiful center.  Use the center as the key to the rest of the fabrics in the block.

There is a little booboo in one of the blocks.  It happens to the best of us.....all of the time!

These little cuties are waiting to be sewn together.

Thank you so much girls for taking my class.  It was fun getting to know all of you.

I'm off to the shop this morning.  This is my last day of work before my retreat which begins one week from today.  We picked up Chinese food the other night and my fortune cookie was very accurate. It read, Cheerful company and a merry time are ahead for you. I wish you could all be there so we could have a merry time together.

Soon,
Lynn

  5. Sure wish I could have been in the class since it's my next project! I love all the different themes! You know what they say about boo-boo's - just call them a Rouge Block and leave it alone!
    Cheers!
