Sew'n Wild Oaks October Retreat Day #1

Hello Everyone,

We had a fun, first day at Sew'n Wild Oaks retreat as Snowflake Lodge yesterday.  My wonderful worker bees made quick work of setting up the design walls and preparing the room making everything wonderful for 36 quilters arriving from around the state.

Gifts of note cards and address labels were ready and waiting.

Hexagon table topper kits are out on display.

The classroom was a flurry of activity the entire day.....

.....unless it was time to eat!

We had lunch on the deck.

The deck overlooks a small lake.

In the afternoon, several of the girls took a walk around the lake.

The meals are always excellent!

Kristi gave us a good chuckle with her wine sippy cup.

Our dessert was quilted eye candy.  We had a feast!

On a funny note, one of the girls sent a text to her husband and told him she was quilting until 9pm. His response was that it sounded like exploitation of a senior citizen! Another wonderful day is ahead of us.....until 9pm!

Soon,
Lynn
