This pattern is called Rabbits Prefer Chocolate by Bunny Hill Designs. I love putting it on display every year for Easter.
I made this in 2006, and it was the first quilt I quilted on my long-arm.
My palms were sweating when I started in.
I was a nervous wreck.
Happy Easter everyone, and may all your bunnies be chocolate!
As always,
Lynn
What a adorable Easter Quilt ! I just love Bunnies !
ReplyDeleteHAPPY EASTER LYNN !
Great job, on both the quilting and the applique. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would have even tried to do it on such a beautiful quilt. Especially being my first time on a long arm....sweaty palms.....I would have had heart palpatations.....I'm not even sure I with a lot of practice I could do such a nice job. For special quilts I only hand quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour quilting was wonderful. Some people just have what it takes. Beautiful quilt!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAh...Lynn!! i made same quilt about that same time! I'll be posting mine later today or tomorrow...i did not quilt mine...pre longarm for me. :) Your's in adorable!! great quilting for all your sweating!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt. YOu did such a fabulous job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilting. I would have never known it was your first quilt to longarm. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful quilt. The quilting is wonderful considering it was your first play on your longarm.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! I made that quilt, too -- but still haven't gotten around to quilting it! You did such a beautiful job on it. Of course, you are a great quilter. Edie and I have a Statler - so I guess you could say we sorta "cheat" at it! I do freehand on my applique quilts tho. . . : D
