Hello Everyone,
Here are some of the blocks that I finished yesterday.
Today, I will sort these 50 blocks into groups of four, then add a little red center.......
......and they will go together like this. I guess I'm going to have to make some more since 50 blocks will not be enough.
I was having trouble coming up with a name for this quilt. Many thanks go out to Lynette at What a Hoot. Lynette came up with Butterscotch something since she has been dipping into the Halloween candy!
Then Hazel from Hazel's Quilts came up with Butterscotch Baskets. So Butterscotch Baskets it is. Thank you all for your input. All of you put on your thinking caps since I seemed to have lost mine.
On another note, check out Lea's Nostalgic Christmas quilt HERE. The center panel she used is just darling. A big ole country huggins right back atcha Lea! Thank you so much for making my design so beautifully.
I can't put it off any longer, I have to rake pine needles today since the snow is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Of course, if I wait until tomorrow, the snow will cover the pine needles and no one will know they are there.....except me. Quilting or pine needles.....that is the question!
Soon,
Lynn
Butterscotch Baskets fits! Those colors and the traditional feel just make me feel all warm and fuzzy all over. Perfect for Thanksgiving.
