Sew'n Wild Oaks Class Was In Session

Hello Everyone,

My girls have been at it again with their finishes.  So many wonderful quilts come into the class in parts and pieces, then leave as wonderful works of art a few months later.  Marti has her Paris in the Fall ready for the machine quilter.  This was a BOM at In Between Stitches a couple years ago.

Barbara B. has her batik and applique quilt ready for the quilter.

Barbara G., the former teacher, had her class make a snowman block a few years ago.  She put them together and look at this cute, cute quilt!  When I first saw it, I thought it was a panel.

The students who made the snowmen are now 22-years-old.  Precious.

Kristi just returned from a Lisa Bongean retreat in North Carolina.  She returned with a couple of treasures and lots of knowledge.

Kristi was also in a block exchange for Jo's Club, and put them all together.

Irene and Suzanne are going to town on their Journey's End blocks.

Suzanne is also working on the Block Heads blocks offered by Moda.  She is not only making the six in block, she is making 3" blocks!

Do I hear the word precision?

Valery has all of her blocks made for Spoken For.  It was so much fun to look, really look, at each block to see the level of detail.

Jeanne has started her For the Love of Baskets journey! I absolutely love the fabrics she's selected to make her 120 little 4" babies.

Patty is almost finished with the Checkerberry pillow top. He is so cute!

Kristi is working on her Block Heads in addition to Journey's End.  Her Blocks Heads are made out of Jo Morton fabrics.

Cindy has a beautiful pile of little English Paper Pieced flowers for her Summer's Blush/Winter's Warmth quilt.  She has only ONE MORE FLOWER TO MAKE!

Give yourself the gift of joining a group of quilters.  It is always a special day when we are together.  How could you not be inspired by spending the day surrounded by beautiful projects, and beautiful people. We laugh, we talk, we eat, we share stories, we bond, we create.......we just be ourselves, and leave the classroom happy and content.

Soon,
Lynn
