October Magic Class is in Session

Hello Everyone,

This post is ONLY two weeks late.....what can I say to defend myself, other than I've been a little busy.  Several of us gathered in the classroom at In Between Stitches a couple of weeks ago and I taught the first session of October Magic.

A few of the gals bought the kit that I put together.  We had an explosion of fall colors in the classroom.  If you want to have a color explosion at your house, there is ONE kit left at the shop.

The colorful geese started to fly around the classroom.

Love this arrangement of colors for the little nine-patch blocks all cut and ready to be stitched together.

Baby pumpkins were born and safely stored in a salsa container.  This is a great idea to keep all of the tiny little pieces corralled so they won't get lost or misplaced.

Mary is brand new to applique and took to it like a champ.  I'm anxious to see her progress when we meet again at the end of the month.

Quilt classes are lots, and lots of fun.  There is always a wonderful exchange of ideas and it's a great support group for quilting and life in general.  I always learn something new from the girls that take my classes and I end up saying, "Now why didn't I think of that?"

If you are new to a community, sign up for a quilting class at your local quilt shop and you'll make instant friends.  Quilters are a good, caring group full of positive energy that is absolutely contagious!

Soon,

Lynn

  1. Got my pattern! Is it okay if I join the class as an "at large" member?!?! ;-} Great selection of fabrics! They look very similar to a carefully, if not zealously, collected stash...somewhere very near ME!!!
