Country Charmer Finish

Hello Everyone,
I love to receive emails and pictures of quilts finished by you, my readers.  I adore seeing what changes you've made to patterns and how you interpret my designs.
Sharon, sent me a picture of her outstanding Country Charmer.  If you look closely, you will see lots of plaid!!!

It makes my day when I get emails like this.

"Well here it is... as you can see I enlarged it slightly as I want to hang it during the Christmas season and want it to fill a large wall area.  Thank you so much for this lovely pattern and the fabulous detailed instructions and perfect page of block piece placement.  You make the construction of this quilt so much easier than could otherwise be"

Sharon, I LOVE your quilt.  Well done from the fabric selection to the final borders.  Thank you so much for making my pattern and sending me pictures of your gorgeous quilt.

P.S.  I have an extensive tutorial on my blog showing you step by step how to make this quilt.  Click HERE for the tutorial.  Click HERE if you are interested in purchasing the pattern.  I am also teaching a Country Charmer class at Cloth and Quilts in Turlock on February 16, 2016.  There are a few openings available.  Check out the class HERE.

  1. This is beautiful! And she is so right, your instructions and the lay out sheet make this a pattern so easier to play with. I need to make another one.

  2. I never tire of seeing this pattern made up and am still enjoying using the one that I made for Christmas on our bed. It makes it hard to close my eyes at night though :).

  3. Loverly! This quilt never fails to inspire he warm fuzzies!

  4. Wow - Sharon's Country Charmer is quite the charmer!!! Fabulous and gorgeous work!

  5. Love this quilt pattern and Sharon sure did it justice.

  6. Sharon, your quilt is beautiful and I love your fabric choices! Well done!

  7. What a gorgeous version of Country Charmer. Your pattern always results in beautiful quilts!

  8. That is a lovely finish of country charmer. I love that pattern. I have been without internet please extend my deepest sympathies to your sister over the loss of her husband. I don't know what I would do without my Jason. Hes been everything I can possibly need for 20 yrs. I absolutely am so sorry about Gails loss and will keep her in my prayers.

  9. WELL, I am so glad it is 1 February! In celebration of the Iowa Caucus I can now break my "goal" of not buying any fabric or patterns for a month (originally a year, but who is counting). I FINALLY purchased your Patchwork Math Book, Country Corners, and Grammy Squares. My next post on my Blog will "justify"? the purchase! LOL.
