Buttonwood is Finished

Hello Everyone,

Buttonwood is finished!  Mr. Joe and I had our little mini photo shoot at the cabin.  We loaded the quilt on a metal pole and carried it out into the woods.  I felt like a porter, transporting cargo through the jungle.  No tigers or lions, just the possibility of bears and raccoons.  Wait a minute, we did have a mountain lion a couple of months ago.

A close-up of the quilting in the blocks and sashing.

What you don't see is Mr. Joe holding the other end of the pole while bracing it against a tree. You can see most of the feather and cable border in this picture.

You might look at this picture and see a windmill and a quilt.  All I see are the dreaded pine needles.

Now for my next design.........

As always,

Lynn

  9. You made me laugh with the image of the two of you walking through the woods with the quilt slung on the pole like hunters coming home with the supper! It's a beautiful quilt - a real delight.

Thank you for coming to the Christmas QAL party - look forward to seeing you next month over at Joanna's!
