Hello Everyone,
The Sew'n Wild Oaks girls (A.K.A. Wild Women) met Tuesday at In Between Stitches. I thought I would start off by showing you Paula's little flowers peeking over the fence. They are adorable! The flowers are full of dimension and really bring life to the block.
Paula says she's the last one to the party for the Party in the Garden quilt.....but she's not. She's making great progress.
My sister and pattern tester Gail is working on her Butterscotch Baskets quilt. It is looking great! She was a little hesitant when she attempted the baskets blocks.......no problem! She made her HST eight at a time and they were perfect. Her input to the pattern directions are invaluable.
One block lead to another and another.......she's going to have it finished before the class takes place. She won't need to take the class, she will be able to teach the class in March!
Evelynne finished her little bear for Toyland Tree. I love her addition of the candy cane and I got a lesson in how to do cording. It's perfect for the bear.
Kay made a Nostalgic Pillow for her Valentine's Day sweetheart. She downloaded a free vintage Valentine image and printed it on Printed Treasures paper. So cute.
Kay is also making The House on Edgewood Lane. Pretty, pretty blocks will soon be surrounding her home.
Barbara finished her beautiful Nostalgic Christmas wallhanging. She'll have it finished in plenty of time for Christmas and it's only February!
Barbara is also working on her Minglewood blocks from the BOM program.
Kathy's bear isn't going to be the headless Teddy much longer.....he'll be finished soon.
Isabelle made a delicious quiche for our lunch! All natural ingredients and healthy. Thank you Isabelle!
I brought in a spinach salad and we were all set for a day of quilting.
Well, you can see the girls have been working hard since we last met. The 2nd Tuesday of the Month is always Sew'n Wild Oaks day at the shop. Wish all of you could join us in our day together.
Soon,
Lynn
