Hello Everyone,
Another whirlwind of a day at Snowflake Lodge for the Sew'n Wild Oaks Retreat. The girls have been sewing up a storm. Here are a few snippets of their work.
This gives you an idea how small the block is for Checkerberry. Note Irene's precision. Yes, that is a peanut butter cup to give you some perspective.
Laurie is making four Checkerberry's to give as presents.
Some of the girls are working on their Homemade Holidays table runner. This is my newest design and a good, quick project for Christmas.
There are several Lucy Boston blocks in the room too.
There are also several Lil' Orphan Scrappy blocks in the room.
Now we have a quilt parade.
This is the back of the Bargello beauty.
Here's my contribution to the mix. A new little design using Elizabeth Dowry fabric from Marcus Brothers. This will be a new pattern in the next couple of weeks.
There were several jelly roll quilts in the room.
Dianne got all wrapped up in Irene's quilt.
Nancy's Country Charmer is ready and waiting for borders.
There are six of us sitting around the dining room table enjoying our morning coffee before we head down to the lodge. Today is the last day of the retreat.....always bittersweet.
Toodle pip,
Lynn
Such fun! I love seeing all the diverse projects you all are working on! Quilting retreats are the most fun and most productive, too, if you plan ahead! Enjoy your last day!!

Sisters All...I will miss you! "Thank You for the Laughter and The Smiles. You made me Wish on Falling Stars and Dream of Our Tomorrows!"
ReplyDeleteI have never gone to a retreat - looks like fun, but I would hate dragging all the projects and necessities.
