Sew'n Wild Oaks Retreat Day Three

Hello Everyone,

I'm really running late today.  Only time for a few pictures before I head off to the retreat.  Here's a snapshot of yesterday.

The girls have been very productive and stopped quilting long enough to take a walk around the lake.

Just a hint of fall color in this tree.  It will be entirely different next month.

All of the beautiful projects have been brought to you by this group of wonderful women.

If the walls could talk, you would all be rolling on the floor........

Lynn

Sew'n Wild Oaks Retreat Day Two

Hello Everyone,

Here are some images of the fantastic quilting that took place during the retreat yesterday.  I wish you could hear the laughter and the chatter throughout the entire day.  It is heartwarming.

Joy went dumpster diving last year at the retreat and came up with many little scraps and created precious, little table toppers with them.  Nothing goes unused!

So much is getting accomplished in the room.  Many new friendships are starting.  Information and tips are being shared throughout the day.  I feel so lucky to be in the company of such good people for four days.  Life is good.

Sew'n Wild Oaks Retreat Day One

Hello Everyone,

A picture heavy post this morning of the first day of the retreat at Snowflake Lodge.  The girls came with tons of projects to work on.  Be still me heart Country Charmer blocks.

Everywhere I looked, I saw beauty in the projects, and in the faces, and hearts of the quilters in the room.

It was a beautiful day to begin the retreat.

Lunch on the deck.

Then it was time to get back to work.

Then dinner.

I had a little mini workshop in my lecture area.

I do two lectures today, paper piecing and Patchwork Math.

Time for me to get out of my jammies and get ready for another fun day.  These girls keep me on my toes!

Lynn
