Hello Everyone,
I don't know where to begin to tell you about the fabulous time we had last week at my Sew'n Wild Oaks Retreat. It started with these beautiful rolls of Farmer's Daughter fabrics by Pam Buda for Marcus Fabrics. This was the start of the first giveaway.
The following pictures are of the "tablemates". Everyone got along so well and were so supportive of each other.
The longest distance anyone traveled was from Idaho.
Nancy is trying to convince me that this little 9-patch was what she completed in one day.
Emily was kind enough to do a guest lecture for us.
Some of the girls took the bear bells with them for walks around the lake.
I can't wait to spend more time with this group. We laughed until we cried....most of it at my expense.....Julie! We were filled to the brim with inspiration and joy. We were all blessed beyond belief to have so many wonderful days together. You girls rock! I love you all.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you next year as the quilters fly north to Snowflake Lake for the Sew'n Wild Oaks Retreat.
Soon,
Lynn
Snowflake Lake? You know the second most wonderful thing I noticed in this post (first is all happy faces and beautiful quilts)? All those ironing board LOL. Those of us at the Oct. 2019 retreat can sure appreciate such a sight!
ReplyDeleteHopefully we will have full power this year!
DeleteYour pictures are worth 29,000 words, Lynn!!! So many happy faces. At one point I DID read your captions out of order and initially thought that "wag the dog" referred to the movement of picking food from the buffet!!!
ReplyDeleteThat made me laugh, Paula!
DeleteThese are wonderful pictures and so many happy faces. Beautiful beautiful work by these great women. It looks like your weather was perfect!!! I have to admire these ladies on the floor. We both know rhe effects of exerting ones self from a lowered position can do.
ReplyDeleteThe weather was absolutely perfect. Yes, the girls were happy. There were many belly laughs throughout our time together.
DeletePerfect weather for the retreat and looks like lots/tons of fun was had by all. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! Thanks for sharing the fun with us!
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's Nancy and the Nine Patch! THAT would be about my speed! Congratulations on another great retreat at Blue Lake Springs!
ReplyDeleteSomeone made an elephant!!!!!! Amazing! I love that red and white quilt. What a terrific group of ladies. Thanks for sharing this. Carol in Texas
ReplyDeleteI love you Lynn!!! ❤ Everything was done in fun, but I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Your pal, Julie 😁
ReplyDeleteAll those beautiful quilts shared, with happy retreaters!
