Yesterday, The Monday Ladies gathered at In Between Stitches. I'm so lucky they quilt on Monday so I get to see what they are making and most importantly.....finishing.
Peg is working on the binding on this colorful beauty. It is gorgeous! This one needs to go on my bucket list of quilts.
Chris has her Buttonwood quilt together.....down to the tiny little corner baskets! (She gets extra credit for making the corner baskets!)
Madeleine is binding her wonderful 1930's quilt. I've watched this one in all stages too. So cheerful.
Louise is hand quilting her quilt. So cute.
Vicky is hand quilting her quilt also. Love the rich color. Just look at the precision in those stars!
Lorraine has her Buttonwood quilt together too! Last week, she brought the top to the shop, and we collectively picked out the border and added a tiny inner border. Chris and Lorraine encouraged each other while making their quilts. That's what friends are for!
Louise is working on Happy Owl-O-Ween. This was precious! I have not seen this pattern before and it's adorable.
There was so much inspiration in the classroom yesterday. I love seeing the Monday Ladies, hearing their laughter bubble out of the room, and I enjoy watching and being included in their fellowship. Thank you for the homemade cake Louise!!
As always,
Lynn
Everyone is making lovely progress. That buttonwood certainly is going to be lovely. I really like the way the diamonds come together. Makes me wish you were local - to me!
ReplyDeleteMy kind of day, Lynn! I see a lot of your inspiration in some of those quilts, too! Everyone's work is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Franken-Owl made me laugh out loud! Love it. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCould you please ask Louise where she got the
ReplyDeleteOwl pattern - I've got to have it

Looks like a fun and productive day! Could you share the source of the star quilt with the blue hexagon background? Love it!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you would want to make a quilt like Peg's. So many little pieces. It just seems to glow with them.
