Hello Everyone,
Here is just a very small sampling of the quilts from last weekend at the Quilts In Bloom show in Ukiah. Gail and I had quite a nice view from our booth.
All wool....beautiful work.
Love the shoes!
One hot air balloon didn't make it!
The Log Cabin blocks were 4"!!
I'm sorry I couldn't include pictures of all the quilts. To see the work from the talented ladies of the Grapevine Quilter's Guild, you will have to go with me to the show next year!
Thank you again ladies for taking such good care of Gail and me while we were at the show. You girls are delightful!
Soon,
Lynn
What beautiful work!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful quilts of such variety of techniques - super talent in the area for sure. And I loved your booth set up - I always go with a double booth - so much easier and more eye-appeal.
ReplyDeleteSo many great quilts! My favorites are the pineapple, the medallion with the checkerboard center, and that outrageous (in a good way!) wool applique quilt. Can you tell I love color? :P
ReplyDeleteI just took a mini class to learn all the fancy stitches like Sue Spargo embellishes her quilts with, so that second picture you shared really caught my attention - so fun! Thanks for all the great pictures - looks like it was a great show!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great variety of quilts. I loved the Lone Star quilt - really makes me think I must get mine quilted soom.
ReplyDeleteP.S. to my comment on yesterday's post. A special thank you to Helen in Healdsburg and Jeanne in Penngrove for driving miles north just to see us and the show! We so enjoyed your company and we appreciate your support!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I decide to make the drive to Ukiah to see Lynn and Gail at their booth, and to see the quilt show. Thanks for visiting with me. Hope to visit at the next quilt show.
ReplyDeleteNot only are the quilts stunning - the quilting on them is a show in itself! I want to channel them all ;>)
ReplyDeleteCheers!
