Hello Everyone,
Yesterday was finishing day. For me, a quilt can't be put into the finished column until it's quilted, the hanging sleeve is attached along with a label.
Zinnie always knows when it's time to have her picture taken.
The pillows now have their backings on and they are good to go to the show as a display.
It's hard to see the quilting, but it's there!
Thank you all for your comments about the basket quilt. Many of you don't think I can go two weeks without quilting or blogging......and I think you are correct. This weekend I have a pattern to write and other things to get ready for the show that really aren't quilting related, but booth and show related. I need to make price tags, and business cards. Then pattern printing and stuffing all need to be done. I can smell some midnight oil burning in my future! I should have a giant bloggers slumber party and we can all stay up all night and stuff patterns and quilt quilts!
Soon,
Lynn
Gorgeous. Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWow!! I love it! It's just so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful finishes! Your CC quilt is so beautiful and the quilting makes it even more spectacular. If I lived closer, I would help you stuff the patterns! Sounds like you are very well organized...I'm sure you'll stay on track and have everything ready in time!
ReplyDeleteI wish I was there to help you...shucks!
ReplyDeleteI have loved every picture of the Country Charmer quilt you have posted. I have the pattern and as soon as I get caught up with customer quilts, I am going to make it.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful ! Congratulations on a great finish ! You are SO organized .
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Congrats on all your finishes and good luck with the pattern stuffing and burning the midnight oil. I still have to get my fabric for the country charmer quilt, but I have a couple of things I have to finish before I even attempt to start it. It's killing me to behave and finish stuff first. Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteYay for a gorgeous finish! And Zinnie is wonderful. :)
ReplyDeleteStunning!! My poor old table runner is coming along slowly, as I have another customer quilt to do and many other bits now that our weather has cooled down. Enjoy your show.
ReplyDeleteOne last time....... I LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteZinny shows off your quilt so beautifully, Lynn! She's the perfect model!! I agree, it will be hard not to hear from you for 2 weeks, and I have a feeling we will!

ReplyDeleteZinnie is a star!!
Your slumber party sounds like a brilliant idea, but I have a feeling that a lot of chat, laughter and eating would happen and maybe not enough quilting and pattern stuffing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card fabrics you have in those pillows...do you make those your'e self? And your'e quiltwork looks amazing with those stars popping up between!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this quilt...where can I get the pattern?
