.....and then there were four

Hello Everyone,

I just finished stitching my fourth Lucy Boston block.  I think she's beautiful.

I'm slowly adding to my collection.  I cut out block #5 yesterday so I'll be ready to start the slow assembly process tonight.  This project reminds me of the poem Mary had a little lamb.  Everywhere that Lynn went, the lamb was sure to go.  I take my Patchwork of the Crosses project box with me everywhere.  We are bound at the hip.

The blocks are waaaayyyy toooooo addicting.  I love to watch the blocks come alive.  It is fun selecting the fabrics too.  Sometimes I prepare all of the pieces and then substitute something else that I like a bit better.  There are lots of blocks in this quilt, so you have many chances to be creative.

The acrylic template and papers that I use to create these blocks are HERE.  I will put a tutorial together one of these days when I don't have quite so many things on my quilting plate.  Happy Sunday.

Soon,
Lynn

  2. Beautiful blocks Lynn. And they say we are crazy to cut up perfectly good fabric only to sew it back together again. I think Lucy Boston has put that misconception to rest for good!
